You have asked a common question, which also afflicts
Zip drives.
There is a solution for Apple High Speed SCSI card owners,
the Tulin drivers sold by some ex-Tulin employee on
CompuServe.
For RamFAST users, there is no current solution.
One idea that has been thrown around in the past has been
the creation of a init or desk accessory that reads something
off the disk at set intervals before the drive goes into sleep
position, thus resetting the clock. Nothing has come of that,
however. Unless you want to write such an init or desk
accessory. ;-)
