You don't need a card, just a high speed Mac modem cable to connect
from your serial port 2 to a 56k external modem. Set to the highest
setting and the speed will go from there automatically.
The problem stems from how fast the GS can handle the incoming data. A
stock 2.7-2.8mhz GS will probably choke beyond 19,200bps whereas an
accelerated GS (using TWGS or Zip) can probably handle quite a bit more
than that. I don't know if a GS could handle the full 56k.
