As far as I know it uses the same ACIA (?)

The difference is in the wiring diagram - the //c had a fairly funkified 
serial port (Who in God's name thought of a *5* pin serial port for a standard 
that supported 25 pins?) so you need to know what the different pins do on a 
//c.
