I would not throw out the Profile though.  There is space inside this
perfectly good case and power supply for TWO SCSI mechs.

And why not get a large (1GB) SCSI mech for the IIGS?  Used, these
mechs are cheap and they are FAST.  Unlike the RamFAST card,
which hides speed deficiencies of mechs with caching, the Apple
card gets faster as the drive size increases.  As discussed in another
thread, a 1GB mech chained to the Apple High Speed SCSI results
in at least a 15% improvement in performance compared to a 700MB
mech (varies with exact make and model, but these are examples).
