The technical answer to your question is that you need a 1.44MB
floppy drive plus controller for the IIGS.

1) SuperDrive with SuperDrive controller (Shreeve Systems)
2) Standard PC 1.44MB floppy with BlueDisk controller (SHH Systeme)
3) A floptical drive with an SCSI controller
4) A SuperDisk, the IDE version, with a TurboMicrodrive IDE
   filecard (SHH Systeme)

Then you need System 6.0.1 with the MS-DOS FST installed.
