Try giving the floppy disk (or Zip as well) a label (ie a name, not the
paper thing) when its being formatted. From what I remember Peter Watson (of
MUG! fame) trying to explain to me, The MSDOS.FST gets confused with the
long file names and disk volume name IF the floppy hasn't got a disk name
(label). Seems to work with me (usually).  At least I think thats what Peter
was trying to tell me. ;-)
