Not to defend Delphi but IMHO Bev overreacted. If you view the Bev
thread on Delphi there were only a couple of people defaming her while
the majority of people were either denfending her or were talking about
AOL and the Imac. Due to just a few light flames from personal enemies,
Bev is abadoning all of her Texas II subscribers, Comp.sys.apple2, and
the remainder of the Apple 2 communtiy. In comparison, it took years of
heavy flaming for Nathan to leave.
I have no doubt that that thread POed Bev. If I were in the same
position as her I'd be furious. However quitting is not the answer.
There is no need to commit ritual AppleWorks publication suicide to
avenge her dishonor. I hope that she reconsiders her decision to leave
the Apple II community. Wise decisions are not commonly made in the heat
of anger.
