GCR isn't standardized between platforms. IIRC, the Apple's GCR encoding
table is different from CBM's, and moreover, Commodore disks have different
data density (angular velocity?) depending on the track's distance from the
disk hub, a trick unique to Commodore because they patented it.
Even if you got past this, you'd need custom software to read the VTOC on
Apple disks. This last bit is easy and can be done on the 64 side if you have
the format handy, but the first part requires some low-level reprogramming
of the 1541 at the *very* least.

I don't know what a Quadboard is, unfortunately. Maybe the Apple ][ crew does.
