Doesn't even need a patch.  The only problem is that the ROM 3 firmware
doesn't try to create a RAM disk if the machine has 8 MB of RAM.

The System 6.0.1 ProDOS file (GS/OS boot loaader) detects this problem,
looks up the Control Panel settings and creates the RAM disk itself
(probably by calling the same routine the firwmare should have used).

Once the RAM disk is created, you don't need GS/OS any more - the RAM
disk will be available until it gets wiped by a cold start (generally by
using the resize option in the Control Panel, power off, or self test).
