Nope. The IIgs mono monitor looks exactly like the color monitor, the
only difference being that it displays in black and white (not blue).
Maybe you have seen another monitor attached to a GS.

By the way, why does everyone speak of GS hard- and software in the past
tense?
In mean, in sentences like "... it looked the same ...".
Time doesn't alter them, you know. If they looked the same 10 years ago,
they still look the same today! Except for maybe a discolouration of the
casing...
