Re: A2Web?
The simple answer is, the nameservers (those servers that hold information
about www.syndicomm.com (which is where most of apple2.org's stuff points to))
are just fine. The internic on the other hand has the domain on hold. This
is usually due to non-payment.
Until then, you won't be able to look the name up indirectly. If you're
using something like windows or unix, you can temporarily get around the
problem by adding:
206.230.5.50 www.syndicomm.com
To your C:\Windows\hosts file, or /etc/hosts if you're in unix land. I'm
sure macs have a hosts file as well, but I'm not really familiar with them.
Anyway, to make a short story long, if you do that, you'll be able to
happily wander around the A2Web pages without your browser complaining
about not finding the site.
