I think the first thing you should look into is system extensions.
Try getting everyone to run AWGS with either a bare GS/OS System 6.01
install or having them all shift boot before using AWGS.

This will eliminate differences in people's add-ons that might be
triggering some bug(s) in AWGS.  If you can reliaby make AWGS crash
when some system extension (or combination of extensions) is added
then you can start looking at where the extension(s) and AWGS are
running into each other to cause the system to crash.

Then there is the thought that different versions of GS/OS may be
causing AWGS to become unstable.

If someone does decide to track down some bugs, good luck to you.  I'm
sure many people would appreciate it.
