Re: What's New From SSII

I'd like to clarify what I wrote about NiftySpell's main dictionary and
user dictionary...

Digital dictionaries do not generally include Proper Nouns such as
people's names, and most don't even include computer terms. So, a program
like AppleWorks GS will tell you that the terms "IIGS" and "AppleWorks"
are misspelled.

The "work around solution" for spell checkers is to allow people to
create their own custom dictionaries, so that they can add words as they
go along. After all, if a spell checker flags _your_ name every single
time, that could get annoying after a while.

NiftySpell, just like AppleWorks and AppleWorks GS, lets you set up a
custom dictionary where you can add words that are not found in the main
dictionary.

NiftySpell differs from AW and AWGS in that you can have multiple custom
dictionaries that can be swapped out with the click of a mouse.
