BXY is the extension used for a ShrinkIt (NuFX) archive with a Binary II
header (which preserves the Apple II file type and other directory
information for the ShrinkIt archive file).
It can be extracted by any version of ShrinkIt on the Apple II or IIgs
(ShrinkIt, IIPlus.Unshrink, GSHK, plus third-party extractors like the
YankIt shell utility).
For other platforms: nulib is available on UNIX and MS-DOS. It can
extract a BXY file in two passes (one to remove the Binary II header,
the other to extract files from the .SHK archive).
Not sure what is currently around on the Mac, other than ShrinkII, which
was commercial and is no longer available (as far as I know).
