As some of you know, I put a free e-mail alias system up at www.apple2.com,
where anyone can come and signup for a forwarding alias @apple2.com.  This
has met with mild success (82 users currently).

I am about to add web site aliasing to this site as well.  Anyone who
has an apple2.com alias will also be able to put a web alias to their
homepage.

For example, if my homepage was www.asimov.net/~patrick and I had an e-mail
address alias that was modus@apple2.com, I would be able to have
http://www.apple2.com/~modus point to my real website.

How useful is this?  Not very.  But it seemed kind of neat and it's fairly
easy to integrate into the existing system.

Look out for this new feature in about 24 hours.
