software for the apple II

A friend of mine received an Apple II for free, for his son.  The family
is not familiar with computers and asked me to set it up for them.
Unfortunately, the do not have any money to invest in this machine, and
they only have the external 3.5 floppy drive.  (no scsi card, etc.)  If
anyone could suggest where I could  get some games for this machine, I
would really appreciate it.  I'm able to make prodos floppies and copy
disk images on a macintosh, I just don't know where to get the software.
