Zip drive =800k?
I have a question: has *anyone* been able to copy more than 800k
at a time to a zip disk without an error msg (usually $0027?)
I *do* recall the discussion about the need to supply terminal power,
but someone tells me he has same prob w/ ramfast, which _does_ supply it.
I have an Apple hi-speed, (do not have the term power modification
done) but this is the *only* problem encountered w/ the drive.
I have tried the finder, wings & a few other things.
I have 150 watt buggie power, so we have the juice required for all the
cards. So what is the deal? Is there a work around?
I would like to hear from those who have copied large folders/volumes
w/ no problem to a zip disk. thanks!
