This is not an easy process at all.
You need to copy the sdk/shk images to an MS-DOS floppy. Then you need to
run a utility on the floppy to convert it to a ProDOS image. Then you have
to convert that image to .2mg format.
You then use the imagetools to create a couple of blank 800K 2mg disks.
Then you boot XGS with that image mounted in one of the smartports and a
GS/OS boot image in s7d1. You must also mount the blank 2mg images as well.
As long as you have the MSDOS FST loaded, you will be able to read from the
MS-DOS image. Using GSHK, you can then unpack the SHK/SDK images onto your
new blank 2mg disks...
Not a lot of fun to do, but it works...
I believe that XGS-DOS also has an XCHANGE program built in to make this
easier, but I haven't tried it as yet.
