Your reply and comments on the matter has been noted.  I'm waiting from a
return call from Roger at this moment.  Read my post reply to the matters on
CSA2.  The author and copyright holder of TGE is John MacLean who I beleive
lives in the U.K.   The archive was uploaded to the ftp site from the U.K.
without any identification as to who uploaded it.  The IP number was from a
public library facility there.

When I talk to Roger, if he request it's removal, I will delete it promptly. 
I'm trying to locate and contact John MacLean for a clarification on the
programs status and his premission to allow it to remain on the site for public
download.

With respect to your feelings on issues 1 and 2, I've made a personal decision
(given the current state of Apple IIgs software titles) to accept for public
access from the site,  any upload that is not a current, popular or known A2
software in a status of commercially active title and publicized availability
by direct ordering from the promoter.  As in the case of Joe Kohn and SSII
titles, CD and collections he sells,
none will ever be made available from the site.  

This is my standard guideline with respect to any other such  A2 software.  If
any titles are on the site that do fall into this general status, then I've
either obtain direct premission from the current legal copyright holder to have
it archived for public access or have made my own personal decision that it is
of no current commercial value in sales quantities and whould do no great
dammage if it were there for public download.

As soon as Earl Childers made me aware by his email on the legal status of the
Mgr v1.5 (French) being available from an ftp site within the US, replied to
Earl with my profuse appoligy - acknowledge it was an honest error - as it was
related to be a freeware release from the actual program authors and promptly
removed it.

I've made all the above information available with public postings on CSA2 and
I will continue to respect anything on the site that any legal copyright holder
does not want to remain there - be it technically still classified as
commercial, shareware, freeware or even public domain for that matter.

In essence, this view on all from me looking at everything related in this
reply, could be viewed by you as my adopting both guidelines 1 and 2.  If that
makes you angry, I'm sorry.

In closing I honestly feel my guide on it all comes down to the needs of the
many out weigh the needs of the few.

I've already been labeled in public as being crazy, by many people in the Apple
II community.  Perhaps that is the case.  Perhaps we all are crazy in our own
specific judgements, outlooks and individual way of perceiving things we have
to deal with.
