     That's an interesting idea. (And, it could save a lot of bother if
it's the problem.)  I did not know 5.25" HD disks ever even looked like
they work in an Apple 5.25" drive. On our 5.25" drives, the HD disks
we've tried pretty much act like no disk at all.
