A Z80 card is a card for running CP/M software like for example the old
WordStar Word processor and several other bussiness type related software
titles in the specific operating system of CP/M on an Apple II model computer. 


Several different types from several different companies and manufactures were
made for the Apple II computers during the late 1070's and early 1980's.

Without the specific software for each of these many different types and
manufactured Z80 cards and the specific CP/M programs for use with them you
can't do too much of anything with the Z80 card now - unfortunately.

Oddly enough, I've been collecting as many different Z80
cards and software bundles for them as possible in the past month or two, with
the application programs for use with them also.

This will all work fine with many different released Z80 - CPM/soft cards on
the IIgs also. I plan to soon make this all available with documentation and
info from the IIgs' apple.cabi.net ftp site, for public downloads and the needs
of owners of these old cards.

They should soon be available from the Apple II specific Asimov ftp site too,
which is also mirrored from the apple.cabi.net.  So, hold on to the Z80 card. 
You'll soon have the ability to put it to some useful functionality.

BTW, I noticed Atari 2600 in your sig.  Did you know that there's an Apple II
emulator for use with the Atari - that allows the Atari to run a great deal of
Apple II software rather well as disk image files?  

Those disk image files can be found for your download needs from the Asimov ftp
site.  :)  If you'd like to give it a try, let me know.  I'll give you the url
to download that Apple II emulator for the Atari and also the url for the
Asimov ftp site that has a vast collection of Apple II programs in many
catagories, in emulator image format - archived for just such use.
