     I did not know the '832 had been tested at 40MHz! That would be a
very nice uP for our upgrade, if WDC actually goes into production.

     There may be a way around the $100 minimum order business for the
current 65C816's. If you are a student or teacher, you may be able to
order just a single IC. The last time I checked, the price was around $7
or so.
