Apple Store/G3

If any of you are thinking of buying anything from the Apple Store, here is
my experience: I saw a refurb G3 advertised on the Apple Store web site, sent
them a cashiers check, then I waited. After a week or so I called. They
didn't even have a refurb in the wharehouse. I asked why they advertised
something they didn't have and, of course, got no answer. I finally get the
G3 and after endless hours on the phone w/ tech support it turns out to be
faulty. They never even refurbed it before sending it to me is all I can
guess. I send it back and am told it will take 10 days after they get it back
before they can send me my check. I finally get my check and it's short. More
hours on the phone w/ bad music. I'm still waiting for the rest of what's
owed me.I got a new G3 from a dealer for the same amount the Apple Store was
charging me for a so-called refurbished one. The shoddy quality of what I've
received has me worried. The mouse fell apart after a few hours. The tray for
the CDROM is so flimsy I'll have to be very careful using it. What other
surprises are ahead? And then there's the 15" monitor. The 15" measurement
includes glass under the plastic around it. How long will Apple stay alive?
