     Mainly, it seems like too many A2-related enterprises have
forgotten that benefitting the customer _does_ benefit the company.
(Regarding Joe, wasn't he out of the picture after the QC sell-out to
Scrantron?)

     The decision to get rid of II Alive made sense once SQC committed
to getting out of the Apple II business. After that, if users had a
valid complaint about SQC dealings, it is that the company basically sat
on a several important Apple II products and made no real attempt to
market them.
