Concerning your comments about yours and Doede's visualization of this
newsgroups status.....'demise of this newsgroup'????...the way I interpret the
word 'demise' means: degeneration or death.   I see nothing related to demise,
degeneration or death in this newsgroup.  To me it simply seems to be going
thru it's normal yearly cycles of user related feelings, thoughts and related
postings.  I see it as being just as ALIVE, PRODUCTIVE and INTERESTING
as it's always been over the past years I've been reading it.

To both Doede and Pim, I say, aside from the normal few and scattered rants,
raves, flames, trolls and flamebaits that appear occasionally, I consider this
newsgroup to be; informative, helpful, productive and conducting things in a
positive and normal manner - AS USUAL.

There's always going to be some bitterness in the Apple II
dishes served up on this newsgroup.  But, in general I see and taste much more
in the way of enjoyable, useful, productive, helpful tidbits and yummie dishes
- than I do with the few bitter, spoiled and sour things that appear within
this newsgroup - from time to time.

In short, the world and all of us populating it (as much as many of us would
like to see it all be 100% positive GOODNESS) IS NOT a collection of 100%
positive GOODNESS and the same goes for this newsgroup.  I can live with it, I
can deal with it and I can handle it.
