Re: Portable Apple II

I would love to see a low-power portable, even if it was just an ad-hoc
Laser 128... all I need is a sleek, inexpensive portable that's durable,
doesn't crash, and runs practically forever on batteries...

Wait, there's the E-Mate... but Jobs killed that.

Where's Tony's IIGS Portable? What about the IIc with the Checkmate
Technology LCD Screen?

Couldn't somebody build a kit? Rather than paranoia over violating
copyrights, patents, and IP, why doesn't somebody find out how to take apart
a IIc, a IIgs, or even a late IIe (with its simplistic motherboard) and put
it in a case that's sold. "Just Add Apple II"

Have a good one!
