Slick is going off-line
Due to an excessive amount of homework in summer school, I am
temperarialy leaving the CSA2 newsgroup. I have a research paper to work
on, and am over a week behind in reading the messages. I have 653 unread
messages listed in Netscape, the oldest is dated 6/21/98.
For those of you who are waiting for my Star Trek spoof, the stack is
ready except that I haven't copied the rSounds from my /system/sounds
folder into the stack. This takes time with rSounder or the resource
copy XCMDs that came with Hypercard. I might have the time to shrink
the rSound files into the same archive, or I can wait until I have time
to finish the job properly. If someone can e-mail me an easier way to
attatch all the rSounds in an rSound file to a HyperCard stack, I'll
see what I can do.
School is my first priority, then my job. Sorry, I'll try to log in when
I can, but mostly I'll be doing research on the net and I will probably
only be checking my e-mail.
CC Slick_RCBD@hotmail.com to any replies concerning the Star Trek spoof.
I can make no promises on when I'll be reading my e-mail. I am logging
off shortly, as I need to tap into my local library's card catalog (via
a conventional modem dial-up) and reserve some books.
When Summer school get's out on July 30, "I WILL RETURN".
