57.6 kilobits per second synchronous (for modems, etc.)
230 kilobits per second asynchronous (for AppleTalk)

The Super Serial Card is a piece of shit compared to the GS serial chip
(same as Macintosh).  The SSC may be modified to deliver >100kbps,
but nowhere near AppleTalk speeds.  It also has less buffering than the
GS serial chip.
