I use both and I can tell you, each has its advantages, but they both
freeze equally. It is just that you know how to make the Mac pop
back up after it crashes...let me ask you this, when the Mac has
a conflict, you know to go in and remove an INIT or extension, right?
You don't know how to fix Win95 when it glitches, right? To a
person well versed in Win95, Win95 would look much easier and
give them much less headaches. As a person that uses both, I
see neither as less stable than the other.
But some advantages, Win95 does have and it will take Rhapsody
to match it in Macintosh. If Rhapsody comes out for both Mac
and Intel units, then what would be your reasoning that Mac
units are superior? The version of Rhapsody for Intel will also sport
the Apple GUI, so now what? In fact, Rhapsody is based on
OpenStep which is also the basis for the Next OS that already
runs on Pentiums...
