   Better hold on to that //c -- there's no Apple II 5.25" drive
available for that Mac. [Some rare and oddball Macs could have a //e
card for them, almost a decade after the //e came out, or about 5
years after Macs supported external PC 5.25" drives.... Macintosh,
Inc's priorities are quite clear even though some try to deny that]

   Also, as Appletalk support was planned for one version of the //c
then dropped (by Macintosh, Inc, no surprise there), null modem (the
most reliable and simple way to get files between any 2 platforms) is
probably going to be one good way to get the files transferred. Or, if
you can find an Apple II with 3.5" drives (usually a GS), copy files
to 3.5" disks, and hope that your Mac's 3.5" drive isn't too flakey
(Macintosh, Inc cheapskated on components and shafted 800K support) to
support Apple II-written disks.
