Based on what you wrote, I take it you are using Bernie? Well, there
is an easy way to unsrhink GS Shrinkit. You have the .sea archive,
right? Use your Mac to set the creator/type. Creator should be
pdos. Type designates the GS filetype. David Empson posted how
to do this once. Randy Shakelford should also know. What you want
is to set the type to the corresponding GS file type that designates a
GS program (I think S16). Then the .sea file will magically appear
under Bernie as a GS program, which you can double-click from GS
Finder to self-extract.
Rubywand has a FAQ on Ground that tells you how to set the correct
GS file type for self-extraction from Applesoft BASIC, which may be
easier than the above Mac method.
