i don't know if you figured it out, but sometimes, either people don't
KNOW about DejaNews (that can happen), or some people don't know how
to USE it. (yes, this last one CAN be a choice, like -I- choose not
to use DN!)
does this make ME a twit, because (by YOUR standard) i refuse to think
for myself? hardly. if i don't know something, i prefer to draw on
the experience of others and HOPEFULLY, someone will lead me in the
right direction. i don't always have time to poke around DN until i
get exactly what i want.
my whole point is that if you bother to answer, BE POLITE ABOUT IT.
if you can't, then don't say anything more than what's necessary to
post an URL.
y'know, considering the last nine months or so that i've been poking
around here, i think i know why support for the Apple ][ series has
been waning.... it's butt-plugs that insist on flaming anyone and
everyone, the whole while trying to make people thing that they know
everything. those butt-plugs drive everyone away. (i've debated it a
couple times.) you know who you are.
