Read the compability issues with the Zip Plus on the Iomega homepage.
Summary is it's not 100% SCSI chain compatible - a not very common
problem.

I know more people with click-of-death problems with any Zip drive than
SCSI problems with the Zip+. (yes, this is my way of measuring % of reality
for a hardware problem).
