Your main problem will be RAM, as Apple seriously shortchanged GS
users by offering a piddling amount of RAM. See section 7.2 at
http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/faq/csa2.html for the official FAQ's
guide as to what you need and what is recommended for the various OS
revisions. If you already have 1.5+MB RAM, you're in good shape.

4MB RAM would be a good start (probably about $50+) or some basic
HD setup. See section 4.* of the FAQ for info on what you can get, and
where from.

>3)What software is worth the trouble to get (I HATE PIRATES)

Section 5 lists software sites that have taken the time and energy
to be legitimate; other ripoff artists and liars will try and point
you to piracy without ever having the balls to tell you they're
promoting theft.

   http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/faq/asoft.html has lists of
commands, references, etc. Ignore copyright violating sites that only
lie and steal.
