Ummm, both of those would be be wrong. Matt used to work in Apple
Developer Technical Support, where he answered programming questions from
both Apple II and Macintosh developers for a number of years. Over the
years he worked quite closely with Apple II Engineering, but never was in
any Apple II engineering group, and certainly never headed it.
