Backup Advice for old Disks

            Howdy,

  I'm going through my Apple II collection with a renewed vigor, and
I've come
across a program or two I am having problems backing up. For example, a
wonderful game called Threshold from 1981 by On-line Systems. It was
written
by Ken Williams and Warren Schwader. I have the original disk here, and
I'm
trying to make a copy with Copy II+ 8.2. However, even using the param
file
isn't producing a working copy. Any tips of how to get some of these
_very_
old and worn diskettes backed up?
  Any input would be appreciated.
