I certainly didn't mean to make this seem like a "neverending thread",
I just wanted to learn something that might be useful to me.
Thank you for the information in your post. I now know that I don't
need to use the 4.3 savvy driver and if I get a hard drive that has
one on it, I might be able to edit it so that it doesn't mess up my
IIgs.
I, like you, will continue to use a none 4.3 savvy driver on any HFS
partitions on my IIgs. This is the easiest to deal with on the IIgs
and doesn't give up any fantastic features that might be useful to
have when dealing with the partition on a Mac.
