File sharing is only from the Mac. The GS does not have the ability to share
it's drive with any other machine. There are some networking solutions from
companies other that Apple that allow sharing just between Apple IIs but I have
not used any of them. 

You can use the Macs hard drive with AppleTalk and File Sharing just like it
was a drive directly connected to the GS. Be aware however that some software
may not like to be used over an AppleTalk system. If a programer did not follow
Apple's guidelines there could be problems.
