HD's should apply the same.  Also, due to the lack of "safe" defrag
programs - eg. ones that can crash and not trash your HD, ones that can
stop anytime, ones that are industrial strength - coupled with the fact
that there really aren't too many big storage needs, file-copy is the
safest for similar results as compared to defragged.
