You are both going way off the deep end on this. First of all, Scantron has
nothing to do with this. The people we consulted about updating AppleWorks was
the owner, Apple Computer (this on the tails of the ClarisWorks renaming). We
probably would have talked to Quality, too, but it never got that far. Quality
may have their own plans for AppleWorks, such as keeping it going as it is, or
alternatively, (wild guess) letting someone like Joe Kohn handle it, as many
other companies have. That would be fine with us, too. 

Boy, if I'd known you were such a bunch of ranters, I wouldn't have said
anything...
