For a floppy, yes, RAM or another disk works great.  However, trying to
get 32 megs of hard drive defragged with 4 megs RAM is kinda tough. :)

It's pretty good.  I use it on my //e's Sider.

This is true.  Assuming the system doesn't crash midst doing it, as has
happened when I've copied mega-files from one drive partition to
another for the purpose of doing a Finder-based defragging.  :)
