Block 1 is the boot block for an Apple /// (SOS). Apple II formatting
software hasn't written anything useful to this block for a long time,
but if you want to see what it looked like, dig out a copy of FILER from
a ProDOS 1.0 or 1.1 era disk and use it to format a floppy.
It is possible to set up a 5.25" disk to boot either an Apple II or
Apple ///, but I doubt you'd have much room left for anything useful.
The Apple /// boot block looks for a file called SOS.KERNEL, if I
remember right.
