Re: Help with TWGS
At high speeds, I *think* that ONLY the speed test is supposed to fail.
This is according to what I have read, and my experience with my
Transwarp board.
You say you ran the computer for a few hours. When you turn on the
computer, it is cool. It runs good. It warms up (Much faster now. The
MHz upgrade requires more power, and the TWGS card runs hotter)
The TWGS card does not like to get too warm. I have noticed new tests
(besides speed) start to fail if the TWGS gets too warm. Some times
when the computer is hot, it will get stuck in the self test, or just
crash into the Monitor.
A System Saver should help (A fan that moves hot air out of the GS case)
A heavier duty Power Supply would possibly help.
Just some ideas.
