Apple II programmer dies

Jim Nitchals, author of the classic Apple II game "Snake Byte" and the guy
who figured out how to get Music Construction Set to produce 4-voice sound
on _stock_ 1-bit Apple II sound hardware, died June 5 of a massive brain
hemorrhage. He was 37.

More recently, Nitchals was involved with Mac programming (Stop the
Madness, POV-Ray, Headspace Audio Engine) and anti-spam activism.
