Your card has the same part # on the eprom as my Rev C so that's what itlikely
is. A lot of cards that were origionally rev A or B were upgraded
to Rev C. You'd be best leaving the jumper on J1 at pin 8. TheSCSI id of
your devices is set at the individual devices. Either by a pinwheel or with
jumper blocks.

The electronics are a bit different on the High Speed SCSI card. The HS
can handle removable media better. It also does DMA, which speeds it
up slightly although I generally can't tell the difference without a
stopwatch. One advantage of the Rev C over the HS SCSI is that if you
have no SCSI devices powered up you computer will ignore the card and
boot off the next slot. Generally I prefer the Rev C over the HS SCSI
and rarely take them out of their boxes.

The Ramfast is a bit different. It's a lot faster than the Apple SCSI cards.
The Rev C should handle the same devices. Two things to keep in mind
though. Rev c does poorly with removable media. Some devices require
termination power which you'd have to modify the Rev C to provide.

A 300 meg drive shouldn't be a problem in itself but you'll need different
SCSI utilities to set it up. The Utilities that came with your card only handle
4- 32 meg partitions. The largest hard drive I've personally hooked up to
a Rev C is 700 meg, with the last partition being HFS. If you're
not running system 6 on a IIgs you're more restricted in size, not being
able to use HFS.

Hope this helps
