I am the current owner of GBBS and know nothing about allowing the use of
MACOS which all agree was hacked from GBBS, that is unless the user has
purchesed GBBS. I know that L&L had broght some kind of action against the
writer of MACOS and they agreed to stop putting it out and agreed not to
do it anymore. I know nothing about offline use of it, which to me would
be the same as any other use. If someone has written information that
shows otherwise I would like to see it. I'm not planning to make any
money, believe me I bought the rights to save the program and make sure
there is continued support.

I will take legal action if I find systems running either GBBS/ACOS or
MACOS who have not purchased it or received it in another legal manner, or
giving the code or operating systems away or allowing it to be D/L as was
being done.  Lance may not have done much to protect the program, but I
have the means and the will to do so.  It would be a FEDERAL CRIME with
large fines and jail.
