     The internal IIe 4-pin video connector supplies composite video,
Ground, and a couple voltages.

     The designation "TVM-4 Ch3" sounds like a module for converting the
composite video output to RF on Channel 3 OR a connector which goes to
such a module. The idea would be to end up with an RF signal you could
run to a TV. (A Ch 3 RF signal would go to the VHF antenna inputs of a
TV and be viewed by tuning to Channel 3.)

     If all you have is wires going from the 4-pin connector to an
external socket of some kind, then, probably, the external socket is
just a place to plug in an external "TVM-4" RF module.
