Correct.  You need a special AE 3.5 driver.  You must remove the
Apple 3.5 driver from the drivers folder for the AE driver for it to work
properly.  To get 1.6 meg format, you must NOT use the SuperDrive
controller and use instead the regular GS SmartPort.  You can't
boot from 1.6 meg disks.
