XGS apple IIgs emulator

Please don't tell me to go get "the real thing" because I have a fully
loaded Apple IIgs system, but I would like to be able to fool around
with a IIgs while working at my IBM.


I figured out where to get a VESA 2.0 driver for my video card (I was
expecting that to be alot more difficult, but apparently my video card
has an S3 chip, and I was able to find the VESA driver for S3 equipped
video cards)

I spent about 20 minutes searching for the XGS website today.  Each URL
I tried reported that the site was no longer available.

I tried going to the page mentioned in the documentation, but I get a
message saying that it too is un-available.


The VIDEO messages in BootLog.txt report "OK", but the Battery RAM and
the Disk image I am trying to use are not working.  The emulator gets
passed the Copyright/ROM 01 message, and then beeps into the Applesoft
BASIC prompt.

Do you know what an "error #-2" means when you are trying to load a disk
image?

What is the apple2 emulator newsgroup called?  Maybe it would be better
to post in that group.
