Sounds like you overwrote the first 800k of the HD partition with
a DSK image (o-boy!)...Prosel might fix it mostly...
I have to agree with Nathan...you should NOT use these emulator
utils. They don't take the time to protect your REAL Apple IIGS
stuff from damage.
Instead of .dsk, use .shk disk images (commonly called ".sdk")
to get disk images to XGS. Here's how...
Go to GS Shrinkit, select New Disk Archive, compress a disk
and save as YOURDISK.SHK...transfer this file to your Wintel
and use Nulib to extract it...you should get a file with the volume
name of your disk on the Wintel. Run this unshrunk disk image
file through IMGUTIL and the result is a .2MG disk image, ready
to run on XGS.
GS Shrinkit will NEVER overwrite your disk without warning like
this. Good luck! (If you have a Zip drive, you can even make
an .shk disk image...commonly called ".sdk"...of your whole
Zip disk and take it over full blown to XGS!)
